This Privacy Policy describes how Jointearn (“Jointearn”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares, and stores personal information when you use our mobile applications, websites, APIs, and related services (the “Services”).

1. Who we are

Jointearn is a digital platform that may include content (including music, video, and updates), games, social features, referrals, a marketplace, digital wallets, virtual coins, and paid subscriptions.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide

Account data: name, email, phone number, username, password or authentication tokens, date of birth, nationality, gender, biography, and profile photo.
Identity and support data you send us (for example verification documents for withdrawals, seller onboarding, or customer support).
Content you upload: audio, video, images, captions, comments, messages, and reviews, plus associated metadata.
Marketplace data: listings, orders, delivery details, and buyer–seller messages.
Payment-related data: we do not store full payment card numbers. Apple, Google, or other processors handle card data. We receive transaction identifiers, product IDs, status, and amounts.

2.2 Information collected automatically

Device and log data: IP address, device model, OS version, app version, language, crash logs, and diagnostics.
Usage data: screens viewed, features used, content played, session length, clicks, and referral events.
Approximate location from IP address. Precise location only if you grant permission (for example marketplace or local features).
Push notification tokens (for example Firebase Cloud Messaging) if you enable notifications.
Identifiers used for security, fraud prevention, and (where disclosed in App Store / Play privacy labels) advertising measurement.

2.3 Information from others

Sign-in providers (Google, Apple, and similar): name, email (or Apple’s private relay email), and provider user ID.
App stores: purchase receipts and subscription status for In-App Purchases.
Other users: content they share that mentions you, messages they send you, or gifts they send.

3. How we use information

To create and operate your account and provide the Services.
To process purchases, subscriptions, coins, wallets, and rewards.
To personalise feeds, recommendations, and in-app communications.
To prevent fraud, abuse, multi-accounting, and security incidents.
To comply with law, enforce our Terms, and handle copyright or safety reports.
To measure performance, fix bugs, and develop new features.
To send service messages. Marketing messages are sent only where permitted, and you may opt out.

Legal bases (where GDPR or similar law applies) include: performance of a contract, legitimate interests (security, product improvement, fraud prevention), consent (for example precise location, certain notifications, or optional marketing), and legal obligation.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with:

Service providers: hosting, storage, analytics, customer support, email/SMS, crash reporting, and security.
Payment and store partners: Apple, Google, and other processors, solely to complete and verify purchases.
Other users, as needed for public profiles, comments, messages you send, and marketplace transactions.
Authorities, if required law or to protect Jointearn, our users, or the public.
A buyer of our business, subject to appropriate safeguards.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

On the website we use cookies and similar technologies for session management, preferences, analytics, and (where used) advertising. You can control cookies in your browser. The mobile app uses local storage and SDKs for equivalent purposes. Disabling some technologies may limit features.

6. Data retention

We keep account and profile data while your account is active. After deletion we remove or anonymise personal data within a reasonable period, unless we must retain it for disputes, security, tax, or legal obligations (for example transaction records). Backups expire on a rolling schedule.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing or withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

You can update much of your information in the app. For other requests, email support@jointearn.com. We may need to verify your identity.

On iOS you can also use Apple’s account-deletion and tracking controls provided the system.

8. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it. Users under 18 must have guardian consent. Purchases and withdrawals are limited to users 18+.

9. International transfers

We may process data in countries other than yours, including where our hosting, CDN, and subprocessors operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as contractual clauses).

10. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including access controls and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

11. Payments

In-App Purchases on iOS are processed Apple. Google Play purchases are processed Google. Jointearn receives confirmation of the product and transaction, not your full card number. Refunds for store purchases are handled under Apple’s or Google’s rules.

12. Changes

We may update this Policy. We will change the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide additional notice where required. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted law.
