Account Deletion Policy
Welcome to Jointearn. This Account Deletion Policy explains how users of Jointearn can request deletion of their accounts and personal data.
1. User Right to Delete Account
Users have the right to request permanent deletion of their Jointearn account at any time.
Once an account deletion request is completed:
- The user profile will be removed from public visibility.
- Personal account information will be deleted or anonymized.
- Access to Jointearn services will be terminated.
- Earnings, rewards, subscriptions, virtual items, and unused balances may be permanently lost where applicable.
2. How to Delete Your Account
Users can delete their account using one of the following methods:
Option A: Inside the App
- Open the Jointearn app.
- Go to Settings.
- Select Account Settings.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion request.
Option B: Email Request
Users may also request account deletion contacting:
Email: [email protected]
The request should include:
- Registered email address
- Username
- Reason for deletion
4. Data That May Be Retained
Certain information may be retained temporarily where required for:
- Legal compliance
- Fraud prevention
- Security investigations
- Financial/accounting obligations
- Dispute resolution
- Enforcement of platform policies
Retained information will only be kept for as long as legally necessary.
5. Creator Content & Transactions
Some public content, transaction records, comments, or shared media may remain visible where:
- required for platform integrity,
- associated with other users’ activities,
- or necessary for legal/business records.
However, personal identifiers may be removed or anonymized.
6. Fraud & Abuse Prevention
Jointearn reserves the right to retain limited information from deleted accounts to:
- prevent fraud,
- detect abuse,
- enforce bans,
- and comply with applicable laws.
3. Deletion Processing Time
Account deletion requests are usually processed within 7–30 business days, depending on verification and legal obligations.
7. Children’s Accounts
If a parent or guardian believes a child has provided personal data improperly, they may contact Jointearn to request deletion.
